Thanks to its platform and analysis software, it enables pharmacists to provide reliable data about your feet. This gives your doctor all the information needed to determine whether a reimbursable custom orthotic insole is necessary.

How do you make a custom orthotic insole?

Fingerprinting at the pharmacy

Vistapod Pro consists of a platform equipped with a series of micro-pressure sensors connected to a computer running podometry software. The device combines the features of an electronic pedometry platform and a posturography platform. During a short session, you perform various pressure tests by walking on the plate (dynamic pressure tests) or standing still on it (static pressure tests).

Consultation with your pharmacist

The sensors analyze the various pressure points, and the software generates a foot pressure map. The signal produced when the pressure sensors are activated is displayed as an image in which each pressure level is immediately identified by a specific color code (from green for normal pressure to red for excessive pressure). The resulting map of your foot allows for a detailed scientific analysis of any potential postural issues.

Medical opinion

If your doctor determines that it is necessary based on an examination of your foot and your medical conditions, they may write a prescription for you to take to your pharmacist.
